We are looking for an Applied Scientist to own the research and development of our core forecasting algorithms. You'll work closely with the founding team to bridge the gap between theory and production. You will sit at the forefront of statistical modeling and machine learning, refining the logic that turns messy, real-world supply chain data into highly accurate daily signals.
Architect Stability: Develop and deploy forecasting models that capture complex patterns across brands, products, and time horizons.
Quantify Uncertainty: Implement explainability frameworks so every forecast has clear drivers — telling the user why demand spiked, not just that it will.
Bridge the Gap: Translate complex scientific insights into scalable tools that reduce waste and enhance efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Innovate Boldly: Treat models as experiments. Actively seek non-standard ways to squeeze accuracy and signal out of messy, real-world data.
Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on research and development experience focused on forecasting or applied machine learning. (Master's preferred).
The Toolkit: Experienced in data manipulation and analytics within cloud-based ecosystems. We primarily work with Python & SQL.
Operational DNA: Familiarity with supply chain concepts (logistics, procurement, or planning).
The Mindset: You are agile, autonomous, and thrive in fast-paced environments where your work has a direct, measurable impact.
Compensation: Depending on experience, up to 200k total compensation with a transparent equity/stock option plan.
